What an interesting week this has been. The clouds early this morning were some of the most beautiful I can ever recall seeing. God’s creation is just so amazing.
I have one more schedule change to let you know about, we will be removing the greens from the Sanctuary after worship on Sunday instead of doing it tomorrow morning. It just seemed wiser not to try to venture out so early tomorrow if we didn’t really need to do so. Also, I still have a link available for any youth who wishes to watch WAVE this weekend.
I want to remind you that next Sunday (1/16) is Human Relations Sunday. This is one of the six special Sundays our denomination sets aside for all congregations to receive a special offering. Human Relations Sunday is always the Sunday preceding the remembrance of Martin Luther King’s birthday and the special offering strengthens United Methodist outreach to communities in the United States and Puerto Rico, encouraging social justice and work with at-risk youth.
I hope you will be able to join us this Sunday at 10 AM either online or in the Sanctuary when we remember the Baptism of The Lord.
