Beloved, thank you so much for the beautiful Christmas card and your kind remembrance of me during the Christmas season. It is a tremendous blessing to me that God has placed me among you. You are all such kind and loving people. Each one of you holds a special place in my heart.
I am so grateful for all your many kindnesses to me, but most of all for the way God is blessing our church. We do such a wonderful job of caring for each other and each day I see new blessings and opportunities to serve our God coming to us.
One of our newer blessings this past year is having Girl Scout Troop 210128 begin using our buildings for their meetings. It is so lovely to hear the young voices when they are there. How joyful to expand our ministries and be using what God has given us to support the youth in our community.
We continue to explore other opportunities to develop and expand relationships with other community non-profit organizations. As you pray for the future of Faith church, you are always invited to share your thoughts with me, Miguel, or any of our Leadership Board members. As a reminder, those you have chosen to serve on the board this year are John Jacobs, Miguel Palacio, Karen Stern, Terry Coddington, Temple Palacio, Carolyn Vaughn, and Floyd Makle.
Our Leadership Board will be meeting this Saturday, January 14th. Please be in prayer for those you have chosen to serve as leaders for our church family as we work together to vision and discern the next faithful steps to which God is calling us. May we continue to walk not by sight but by faith.
